If you're struggling with losing weight, the truth is you have to change your mind first because it's your negative mindsets and thoughts that have produced the body you currently have. Most of the time we think that our mindsets and thinking will change once we've lost the weight. "I'll be confident once I lose 20 pounds." Or, in Rachel's case, "I'll be a dancer again once I lose 50 pounds." Change your mind first when you're going through a transformation instead of waiting until the end. Changing your mind at the end is like re-painting an old car without ever putting in a new engine. It looks good on the outside but it still can't run the way it should. This week, I want you to be aware. When you catch yourself in a negative mindset or having a negative thought, stop yourself and see how you can change your mindset. This lesson may seem weird but I'm challenging you to give it a chance. See what results it produces in your life.
Decide to change what you think about something. Replace those negative thoughts with positive ones: I am strong. I do deserve this. I am worth it. Because, you ARE worth it!
